By increasing the clamping force of the pressure plate and adding to the square inches of usable disc area, Clutch Master Twin Discs significantly increase clamping values with an average of 50% increase in pedal pressure depending on the application. The cover assembly is machined from billet aluminum that is hard anodized and offers 25% more tensile strength than the competition’s cast unit. Twin disc flywheels are machined from billet 6061-T6 aluminum to meet SFI spec 1.2 for competition in NHRA, NDRA, IDRC, IHRA, SCCA and NASA. Each aluminum flywheel includes a replaceable heat shield. 1045 Billet steel flywheels are also available on select applications.

725 SERIES – (7.25” Twin Disc)

The 725 series is a smaller diameter assembly, which creates less rotating mass and offering quicker, and smoother shifting with much better throttle response, ideal for Drag racing applications.

FX725 Available Stages:
“Street and Race” (TD7S)  – 1 ceramic rigid disc, and 1 fiber tuff rigid disc 
“Race” (TD7R) – 2 ceramic rigid discs

850 SERIES – (8.50” Twin Disc)

The 850 series is a larger diameter assembly, which is designed for high horsepower applications. The 850 Series has a higher holding capacity, less clutch chatter, and a smoother engagement compared to the 725 Series. The 850 Series Twin Disc will accept one sprung disc creating a slightly smoother engagement compared to two rigid discs
 
FX850 Available Stages:
“Street and Race” (TD8S)  – 1 sprung ceramic disc, and 1 fiber tuff rigid disc 
“Race” (TD8R) – 1 sprung ceramic disc, and 1 ceramic rigid disc.
 
1000 Series - (10" Twin Disc)
The 1000 Series is the ultimate twin disk solution for incredibly high powered cars that see track or street use. With its unique construction utilizing strap driven plates, we have been able to greatly reduce chatter while maintaining an incredibly smooth operation. This twin disc is able to handle it all!
 
FX1000 Available Configurations:
- “Race” (TDKR) – 1 sprung ceramic disc, and 1 ceramic rigid disc. 2100lb diaphragm spring
- "Street" (TDKS) – 1 sprung ceramic disc, and 1 ceramic rigid disc. 1800lb diaphragm spring
 
FX1200 Available Disc Configurations:
- “Street” (TD12S)  – 1 sprung organic disc, and 1 organic rigid disc / Tq Rating: 1,100 ft/lbs.
- “Race” (TD12R) – 1 sprung 6-puck ceramic disc, and 1 6-puck ceramic rigid disc. / Tq Rating: 2,000 ft/lbs.

Clutch Masters offers custom option when required by utilizing a variety of friction surfaces, discs and pressure ratings to satisfy any need!
 
Clutch Masters Twin Disc features:
