it is not stiff at all, and really puts the power down. right now i have about 5k miles on it and it's really holding up better than i expected.

Great clutch, it lets out just a bit sooner then the stock clutch it had in it, the pedal was a lot easier to push in also. I have a 2008 Mini Cooper S 6 speed, I bought this clutch because I believe it will hold and last a bit longer then the stock clutch. I also had a dual mass flywheel and I replaced it with product # FW-635-SF (Single mass flywheel).

this kit is a convenient replacement for minis that already have a clutch masters single mass flywheel installed. i have the fx250 kit with aluminum flywheel in the wifes 2009 jcw mini. although i have no dyno proof, the car is supposed to be making near 300 ft pounds and 300 horsepower with the larger turbo, exhaust, intake, and custom tuning. this clutch has a lighter pedal than the factory JCW clutch. it has as good of a pedal feel as you can expect with hydraulic actuation. the lightweight flywheel is a night and day difference in the roll on performance of this tiny engine in a tiny car. the flywheel is verified at 11 pounds. the clutch pressure plate is lighter than factory as well. this clutch setup lasted 47k miles on a daily driver in tampa bay florida traffic, with the wife at the wheel.... thats clutch abuse to say the least. while i would have loved for it to have lasted much longer, i have had higher than stock clamping pressure performance clutches not make 10k miles on a street car. i have also had a clutch masters lightweight flywheel and clutch kit last over 200k on a camaro that i drove to college. all in all, for a high performance clutch in a traffic commuter running 22 pounds of boost from every stop light..... id say it did very well. i cannot complain about the outcome. i can try to keep the wife from holding the car on hill starts with the clutch and downshifting thru every gear at every light.....both of which were done to this clutch that lasted 47k miles. im trying to get her to understand that brake pads and rotors are far easier to install than a clutch. cross your fingers for me!
